Maria Gonzalez is a driven and compassionate student from Atlanta, Georgia, who is currently pursuing a degree in nursing at Georgia State University. A first-generation college student, Maria has dedicated herself to her studies while actively volunteering at local health clinics, where she discovered her passion for providing care to underserved communities.

Throughout high school, Maria was a leader both in the classroom and in her community. She served as president of the Student Council, organized food drives for local shelters, and mentored younger students through her school’s peer leadership program. Maria’s ultimate goal is to become a pediatric nurse, giving back to her community by providing quality healthcare to children in need.
